He gave away 1000’s of Juxtapose magazines, showing his intricate original fine art works. I went to the signing for WEIRDO DELUXE: THE WILD WORLD OF POP SURREALISM AND LOWBROW ART. Journalist Matt Dukes Jordan and artists Kalynn Campbell, Liz McGrath, Gary Baseman, The Pizz, Tim Biskup, Camille Rose Garcia, Gary Baseman, Stacy Lande, Anthony Ausgang, Owen Smith and Shag sign Jordan's new book Weirdo Deluxe: The Wild World of Pop Surrealism and Lowbrow Art. Attendees will be entered in a drawing to win a small signed and framed original tiki painting by the author and an original drawing from artist Kalynn Campbell's book 'Shoot The Moon'. The Lowbrow book signing starred Anthony Ausgang, Stacy Landie, the Pizz, and Gary Basemen, sat at a long table and greeted the throng. They started signing at 6pm and we got there at 7: 15 they were already out of books. No autographs for me! Oh well…. It was at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art better known as LACMA on Whishire. They also have free jazz, Good Food and I wanted to celebrate Anthony Ausgang’s birthday. Happy Birthday day you talented boy! Alex Bennett threw me a great party! So many cool people. Say good-bye to Masquers bar and grill. They canceled our last gig there and gave me an excuse to Arnie Morton’s in Beverly Hills for a Steak Dinner with Tammi. The waiters sang Happy birthday and off we went to the Sassafras art show at Boardners. Writer Kendra put together a hell of a show. Hundreds of people crowded the Casablanca room. We looked at the art and then jetted down the Strip to the Rainbow. I ran into Lemmy Kilmeister at the Back Bar playing poker. He liked the cover story I wrote in Rock City News and Entertainment today. He wished me a Happy Birthday on the stairs, He didn’t have a gift but he had a nice package! Batpack worked on the Comeback with Lisa Kudrow at the Viper Room and Wanted, which is produced by Tori Spelling. Atila, Alex and I spent the day on the Valley at the RF7 and Rebel Rebel, Revlon Red gig in North Hollywood Memorial day. We hooked up with Pistol Pete, a DP I’m doing a new TV Show with. Tawny Featherstone ids having the Glamour puss fashion extravaganza June 3rd from 7-11pm at Eastside Studio’s 4626 Hollywood.
