Motion City
Soundtrack

the Henry Fonda Theater, 2 March 2006

Motion City Soundtrack had their first headlining show in LA at
the Henry Fonda Theater, and they performed for this sold out
show flawlessly. Ok Go did a great job opening with their charm
and sugary melodies. They impressed me not only with their sense
of fashion, but they danced their single, “Million Ways,” move
for move as seen in their notorious music video. From the minute
Motion City Soundtrack came on stage to their last song, there
was a consistent flow of energy on stage and from the pit. It
wasn’t just the moog stands (seriously, the dude was doing hand
stands on the moog!) that got the crowd going, but the
infectious melodies and quirky lyrics had everyone jumping and
singing along to every song, never missing a beat.
